There are no LR Classic CC - LR7 or LR8 freebies. In both cases you will get LR8 which was released in October of 2018. You need to either download the trial or get the subscription. If you want LR Classic CC or LR7 it doesn't exist. If you download LR6 you can update to version 14 which was the last for that version in December of 2017.
